To be a good fit for this opportunity you will have strong SQL skills along with experience deploying publicly available web applications, including significant responsibility for the actual coding. Experience with Mac OSX, Lasso, PHP and/or WebObjects is a plus. We're looking for a professional who has the ability to develop from loose specs in collaboration with clients and the entrepreneurial spirit to thrive in a small company environment. You'll also need a high degree of personal integrity, including a sense of ownership, a track record of delivering on your promises, and willingness to the extra mile.

What Else You'll Bring to the Table

In addition to the qualifications detailed above, you'll need:

• A bachelor's degree or higher, ideally in a related discipline (significant direct and relevant experience may offset this requirement).
• A solid background in full life-cycle web application development.
• Familiarity with the issues associated with building a web application from the ground up, and an instinctive inclination to discuss the issues.
• Strong database skills including database design and performance optimization.
• The ability to articulate the pros and cons of more than one approach to resolving a problem.
• Strong skills with customers, including the ability to listen and respond helpfully whatever the situation calls for, up to and including helping in any way whatsoever, even in tasks outside of the realm of the work being performed for the customer.
• Robust attention to detail.
• A positive and open attitude.
