About Cicada Consulting Group

Cicada Consulting is a small dynamic company which has been developing web-based applications since 1995. Our core competency involves building and supporting custom applications -- whatever the customer needs to make their business a success. In addition, we have products, services and special strengths in the following areas:

• event registration

From time to time we need to outsource graphic design services. We prefer long term relationships with our contract designers. Sometimes our designers establish ongoing relationships with our clients. We are happy for everyone when that occurs.

We influence our clients toward designs that are simple, attractive, fast loading, with minimal javascript and no flash elements. Sometimes our design recommendations are overridden by our clients. Our designers must be ready to work in a variety of styles; we prefer to work with designers who share our preference for architectural and visual simplicity. We need designers with strong css skills.

We occasionally need help designing the navigation and site structure for pages which do not belong to our applications.
